About Whale Shark Tour

With the Whale Shark Tour, you’ll have the adventure of swimming with one of the most impressive creatures in the world. Have you ever imagined swimming with one? You can make it a reality, and we are here to help you. We’ll begin with shared transportation that provides pickups at various hotels in Cancun and throughout the Riviera Maya. From there, we’ll head to the Marina at Punta Sam Ferry Terminal, where you’ll board the boat. Additionally, you will be introduced to your crew, who will provide you with all the instructions regarding the activity and the rules for your safety, as well as for the protection of the whale shark.

Once you are on the boat, you will be equipped with all the necessary safety gear, including life jackets and full snorkeling equipment. Then, the adventure begins. At approximately 7:45 am, the boat sets sail, and after about 45 minutes to 1 hour, you’ll arrive in the North of Contoy Island, where you will encounter the whale shark. Once you and your crew spot the whale shark, you can swim with it. The adventure doesn’t end here; we will take you to Playa Norte beach in Isla Mujeres, where you can enjoy and have some relaxing moments. The return time to the Marina is approximately at 1:30 pm, and then we will transfer you back to your hotel.
